Adam Boland visits Macleay College

Earlier this week, Adam Boland visited Macleay College to talk about the future of breakfast television. He's been creating the programs we wake up to for years.

The creator of Sunrise left Seven Network after 14 years early 2013, to take up a position as executive producer for Network Ten’s new morning programming.

Boland is the mastermind of Ten’s new breakfast line-up, which will feature Wake Up! and Studio 10. Mr Boland said that the new programmes will be aimed at a primarily younger viewership.

Ten has recruited an all-star cast including Ita Buttrose and James Mathison, headlined by the return of Jessica Rowe to the network. Boland was essentially promoting his new creations along with asking for feedback on viewing habits for his target demographic. Macleay journalism students from both the Sydney and Melbourne campuses enjoyed his insight and were happy to offer their own ideas.
