View some of the fantastic creative work our students have produced, speak to students, network with faculty and senior industry professionals and learn about our new Digital Media courses starting in 2017!
This is also a great opportunity for any students interested in studying Advertising or Digital Media to get a taste of this exciting world.
In addition to celebrating the students and their work we are joined by three industry experts who will be judging the best work presented.
Our three exceptional judges: Chantal Abouchar, Grant Flannery and Will Edwards have diverse experience in the Advertising and Media fields. Operating in vastly different industries, and with areas of expertise spanning creative, entrepreneurship and digital, the judges are ready to share their knowledge and advice with our Advertising students.
Chantal Abouchar has worked for three decades in the media and entertainment industry, locally and internationally.
In 2015, Chantal founded The Studio, is a not-for-profit organisation focused on community building, connecting industry with innovation, providing pathways to employment and building connections to a global network.
Media-tech start-ups will help future-proof these industries and re-imagine the way they can develop and grow. The Studio is also focused on facilitating engagement and opportunities across other sectors.
Grant Flannery is an award winning, published (Marketing Mag, B&T etc) Advertising / Strategy expert with broad experience and superior skills working with top tier clients in a number of different facets including digital, social, branding, strategy and creative strategy.
As a B&T 30 under 30 finalist, Grant has offered his expertise as as a Digital Planning Director to us at Macleay College as well as other industry educators including: Miami Ad School, RMIT and Swinburne University as a guest lecturer and panellist.
With a love for digital, advertising and strategy, Grant offers a strong digital perspective to the judging of this years Advertising & Media student work.
Will Edwards is the Creative Director of J. Walter Thompson Sydney. He started his career journey studying Commerce but moved to Macleay's Diploma of Advertising to try his hand at something more creative. As a Creative Director Will is a crafty dude, a critical demander, a writer with a strong conceptual ability... someone who aspires to come up with big ideas that change the world for the better.
