Macleay College is excited to announce the opening of our new Melbourne campus, right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD.
The new campus is a spectacular space with large balconies where students can relax or shoot stories overlooking the hustle and bustle of Swanston St, one of the main streets in Melbourne. The campus will also have its own TV studio, newsroom, lecture theatre and all the most up to date technology including Apple Macs.
“It's a declaration of our confidence in the future of journalism; Macleay has operated successfully in Sydney for over 25 years, we launched in Melbourne at the beginning of 2013 and now we’re expanding our operation to the heart of Melbourne” said Stephen Davis, Head of Journalism at Macleay College.
The move to the new location will coincide with the launch of our newly revised Diploma of Journalism that will teach the most up to date story telling techniques of any course in Australia.
The new campus is located at 55 Swanston St, Melbourne, and opens in Trimester 1, 2015. The first class will be held there at the end of January 2015.
