The Bachelor of Business specialising in Entrepreneurship will teach you how transform creative ideas into a commercially viable business. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them. By developing an entrepreneurial mindset, you will develop the full range of skills needed to succeed in any business context.
In Year 1 the Bachelor of Business will develop attributes of an entrepreneur by immersing you in design thinking, the lean start-up approach and understanding the customer journey. Develop and pitch your business idea to judges, just like Shark Tank! Understand the key attributes required to success as a technology entrepreneur.
In Year 2 you will focus on more detailed business skills such as leadership, strategic management, project management and business finance. You will develop skills in business consultancy to further your career opportunities to support other entrepreneurs. You will know how to make solid business decisions based on a thorough understanding of economic and marketing data. Two elective subjects also provide you with the flexibility to follow a specific interest.
Each year you’ll take part in our internship placement program. It is an excellent opportunity to build your professional network and whilst applying all of the practical knowledge you’ve gained throughout the course.
There is a focus on action and experiential learning including interactive presentations, industry specific case studies, team work, individual assignments and real world projects which stimulate innovative thinking.
The course will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new ideas thereby helping you to develop resilience, adaptability and self-confidence.

It is a cohesive process of creativity, risk taking and planning.
Enterprise Innovation 2 exposes you to the process of entrepreneurship and creativity. This module is about learning by doing - applying entrepreneurial thinking to the development of viable business concepts. On completion, you’ll know how to develop and evaluate innovative, sustainable, investment - ready business ventures. It's possible that some of the student-led projects may evolve into the real-life ventures.
This interactive subject is designed to help you if you’re interested in starting or owning a business, or if you’re interested exploring how entrepreneurs think and innovate. The aim of the subject is to help you develop an entrepreneurial mindset which includes creativity, innovation and diagnostic abilities.
During this subject you’ll be learning first-hand from the experiences of successful real-world entrepreneurs. You’ll also be immersing yourself in entrepreneurial experiences that help you to develop the skills to help you discover and pursue opportunities. Working in teams, you’ll explore creative problem solving and will develop and test problem solutions using an “opportunity discovery canvas” approach.
