
The Diploma of Marketing teaches you the practical skills needed to build a successful career in marketing. Underpinned by consumer research, marketing planning and strategy, marketing communications and managing customer relations, you will develop valuable business skills such as business law, accounting, and managing both people and organisations – essential skills required by a marketing professional. You will gain a broad overview of how to work successfully in business or even set up a business of your own, through the skills gained from entrepreneurship projects.
During the final trimester, you’ll take part in our internship placement program. It is an excellent opportunity to build your professional network and whilst applying all of the practical knowledge you’ve gained throughout the course.
There is a focus on action and experiential learning including interactive presentations, industry specific case studies, team work, individual assignments and real world projects which stimulate innovative thinking. The course will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new ideas thereby helping you to develop resilience, adaptability and self-confidence.
Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Marketing, you will have the opportunity to articulate into the second year of the Bachelor of Business (Marketing) to further develop your skills.
