Course overview

A Diploma of Accounting from Macleay will help you develop the knowledge and skills to land an entry-level job in the field or go on to earn your degree. Either way, it’s the first step toward a successful career in accounting.

From accounting information systems, to digital currency, business law and global economics, you’ll get a comprehensive introduction to the core theories and functions of accounting.

How you’ll learn

Our Diploma of Accounting course is designed to be industry-focused and innovative, with an emphasis on active experiential learning. With the guidance and instruction of our experienced industry lecturers, you’ll have the opportunity to work both individually and in teams to practice business communication skills, prepare reports, analyse financial statements and more.

In addition to our industry-based teachers, you’ll also meet and hear from a range of guest speakers and visit relevant businesses as they build their industry networks.
