Advertising course overview

Macleay’s programs are the ideal introduction to creative, account management, marketing, media planning, digital production and all other aspects of advertising and media. This advertising course covers all aspects of contemporary advertising, including creative campaign development, digital design, user research, marketing, media planning and social media strategy, with electives in account management, digital photography, video production, copywriting, radio advertising, podcasting and more.

Understand how advertising agencies and creative businesses are structured and run and learn the core skills you need to launch a career in advertising and media.

How you’ll learn

Designed and taught by industry professionals, this advertising course focuses on innovative practices and project-based learning. Small classes feature personalised teaching that nurtures each student’s unique strengths. During the final trimester, you will put your learning into practice through Macleay’s internship program and experience what it’s really like to work in an advertising or media agency.
